The Apple Watch has topped the US smartwatch market for the fourth straight quarter, according to Nielsen data.
Apple’s watch continues to be the top-selling wearable in the United States, beating the likes of the Moto 360, the Pebble, and the Samsung Gear S3, according the Nielsen tracker.
The Apple Watch sales mark a huge milestone for the brand, as it has been gaining popularity for more than a year, with consumers clamoring for smartwatches.
Apple has made significant investments in the Watch’s software and design, as well as in its hardware, to bring it into line with the rest of the smartwatch industry.
The Watch was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in March, and its first mass production runs began this month.
The Watch also boasts a $100 price tag, but the price can drop significantly as the device ages, which has also led to demand for accessories.
Apple also launched a limited edition version of the Apple Watch last year, and it’s only available in limited quantities.
